Big Brothers Big Sisters of Quesnel is hiring an Executive Director. This is a permanent position 21-28 hours a week, wage $25.00/hour with a flexible schedule. The work spans several areas of responsibility in a dynamic non-profit agency that serves a broad regional area, including agency management, working with a Board, casework/program supervision, fund development, and marketing. Applicant must have a minimum of a Bachelor Level training in a related field (e.g. education, social or human services, child and youth work, family studies, etc). If you have an interest in working with children and families, strong interpersonal skills, effective communication abilities, good self-motivation, experience in grant writing, human resources, organizational management, risk management, and assessments, basic computer skills, and a positive outlook, up to date criminal record with vulnerable sectors check, you may be the person we are looking for! The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management and administration of all agency programs. Reporting to the Board of Directors the Executive Director/Case Worker is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of all functions related to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Quesnel; its Board of Directors, and Clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: case work, the development and implementation of sound personnel, financial and program policies, procedures and practices, fund development, risk management and marketing.
Duties shall be performed in a professional and confidential manner promoting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Quesnel’s mission and mandate, in accordance with the policies and procedures of the agency and within the National Service Delivery and Standards of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada
